The Engagement hub is where you build relationships before you ever send a message. Follow the right people, see their posts ranked by how much they matter, and comment with drafts written in your voice.
Where to find it: sidebar → Content → Engagement. It has two tabs: Feed and Watchlists.
Watchlists
Your watchlist is the list of LinkedIn profiles whose posts appear in your feed.
- Add a profile with its LinkedIn URL, or import profiles from CSV.
- Auto-follow campaign contacts adds everyone in your active campaigns automatically, refreshed daily. Commenting on their posts warms them up before your messages arrive.
- Profiles are checked in rotation, roughly every two hours on weekdays and less at weekends, within a daily budget that keeps your account safe. Posts older than 21 days are ignored.
- Filter by status (active, paused, error), activity (has posts, no posts, stale for 14+ days) and source (hand-picked or campaign contacts). Select several to pause, activate or remove them.
You can also add people from Contacts with Add to Watchlist, or when you add a signal source.
The feed
| Control | Options |
|---|---|
| Sort | Recent first, Most relevant, Priority (Lead Score) |
| Authors | All authors, A + B leads only, Known contacts |
| Campaign and sender | Only authors in a campaign, or assigned to one of your profiles |
| AI model | The model that writes comment drafts |
Sub-tabs keep the feed tidy: Inbox, Saved, Engaged and Trash. Archive posts older than 7 or 14 days, or Clear inbox to dismiss everything shown.
Each post shows the author's Lead Score band, if they're in your Contacts, with Why this lead? to see why.
- Boost (once a day) checks 30–50 of your longest-unchecked profiles straight away.
- Ghost Pool (optional) adds recent posts from up to five other Ghost users, so you can support each other.
Comment drafts
Click Reply on a post. Ghost summarises what the post is really saying, then writes three drafts, each from a different angle:
| Angle | What it does |
|---|---|
| Sharpen | Adds a sharper distinction or reframe |
| Tension | Respectfully raises the trade-off the post skipped |
| Experience | Adds a concrete example from your own work |
The rule is curious expert, not salesperson: no pitching in comments. Redo any angle, or add instructions and Regenerate with Instructions. DM Starter drafts a direct message instead.
Then:
- Post via Ghost posts the comment from your connected LinkedIn account. Choose Comment as if you have several profiles.
- Copy & Post copies it so you can post it yourself.
- Mark as Engaged counts it if you commented on LinkedIn directly.
From an AI assistant
The same feed is available through the MCP server: list_engagement_opportunities, suggest_engagement_comments and post_engagement_comment. See the tool reference.
Tips
- Comment on 5–15 posts a day, every weekday, rather than 40 in one go.
- Start with A + B leads only.
- Turn on auto-follow for campaign contacts. A thoughtful comment before your first message lifts acceptance.
- Never open with "Great post!". That's what the drafts are for.
