# Quickstart

> Go from sign-up to a live Ghost campaign: start your trial, let quick onboarding build your persona, ICP, prospects and first posts, connect LinkedIn and email, then launch.

This guide takes you from sign-up to your first live campaign. Most people are done in 15 minutes.

## 1. Start your trial

Go to [app.growwithghost.io/try](https://app.growwithghost.io/try), choose monthly or annual, and sign up with Google or email. Confirm your email address, then add a card in Stripe checkout.

You get **7 days free**. You're billed on day 7 unless you cancel before then. See [Plans and billing](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/account/plans-and-billing).

## 2. Let Ghost set itself up (about 90 seconds)

Quick onboarding asks for three things:

| Field | What Ghost does with it |
|-------|------------------------|
| **Your LinkedIn URL** (required) | Reads your headline, bio and recent posts to learn your voice |
| **Your company website** (required) | Works out what you sell and your industry |
| **Who do you sell to?** (optional) | Buyer job titles, industries, customer website keywords and locations. Leave it blank and Ghost builds your ICP from your website. |

Click **Run Ghost Agent** and watch it work. In about 90 seconds it:

- sets your voice
- builds your ICP and buyer personas
- drafts 5 content pillars
- finds 50 matching prospects
- drafts a starter campaign, called *{Your company} — Starter Campaign*
- writes your first 5 posts

Nothing is sent or published. The campaign is a draft and the posts are drafts. Finding the prospects uses about 50 of your 1,000 monthly [credits](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/find/credits).

## 3. Connect LinkedIn

Go to **Campaigns → Outbound Config** and click **Connect LinkedIn**. You sign in to LinkedIn on a secure page, then come back to Ghost. See [Connect LinkedIn](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/getting-started/connect-linkedin).

## 4. Connect email (optional)

To add email steps, connect Gmail, Google Workspace or Outlook in **Outbound Config → Email Account**. See [Connect email](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/getting-started/connect-email).

## 5. Check your persona

Open **Persona hub** and check what Ghost learned: your company description, voice sliders, pillars and ICP. Everything Ghost writes, and every score it gives, comes from here. See [Persona hub](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/getting-started/persona).

## 6. Review and launch your campaign

1. Open **Campaigns** and click your starter campaign.
2. Check the contacts and remove anyone who isn't right.
3. Read every message in the sequence and edit anything that doesn't sound like you.
4. Switch the campaign **on**.

Ghost starts sending within your [daily limits](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/outbound/limits-and-safety), in working hours, and stops for anyone who replies.

## 7. Schedule your first post

Open **Content Library**, pick one of the 5 drafts, edit it, and schedule it. See [Composer](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/content/composer).
