## Export your data

Go to **Settings → Account → Export Your Data** to download a ZIP of spreadsheets with your:

- contacts and their status
- outreach history
- campaigns and sequences
- lists
- signals
- saved content

You can also export posts from the [Content library](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/content/content-library#export) and contacts from [Contacts](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/find/contacts#export).

## How long deleted things are kept

| Item | Kept in Trash for |
|------|-------------------|
| Contacts | 7 days |
| Pipeline deals | 7 days |
| Posts and newsletters | 90 days |
| Emails ignored by email lead capture | 7 days, as sender, subject and a snippet only |
| Dismissed email lead suggestions | 30 days |
| Meetings with nobody from your pipeline | 30 days |

You can also delete captured email data, calendar data and Granola notes at any time from **Pipeline → Settings**.

## Delete your account

Email [hello@growwithghost.io](mailto:hello@growwithghost.io) from your account's email address and ask us to delete your account. Cancel your subscription first in **Settings → Account → Manage Payment**. We remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.

## Connected accounts

- **LinkedIn** is connected through Unipile. Ghost never sees or stores your LinkedIn password. Disconnect any time from **Campaigns → Outbound Config**.
- **Gmail and Outlook** are connected the same way. Ghost only reads your inbox if you turn on [email lead capture](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/pipeline/email-capture) or [calendar sync](https://www.growwithghost.io/docs/pipeline/meetings).
- **AI assistants** connected through the MCP server act as you. Revoke API keys in **Settings → API**, and remove OAuth connectors in your AI app.

## Prospect data and your responsibilities

When you import, find or message people with Ghost, you decide who to contact and why. That means you're responsible for having a lawful basis for contacting them (for example, legitimate interest for relevant B2B outreach under UK and EU GDPR), for honouring anyone who asks you to stop, and for following LinkedIn's terms and the rules on email marketing where you sell.

Ghost helps with this:

- **Blacklist** anyone who asks not to be contacted, so no campaign can message them.
- Replies on LinkedIn stop sequences automatically, and so do email replies when email lead capture is on.
- Add a short opt-out line to cold emails where your local rules require one.

For full details of how we process data, read our [Privacy Policy](https://www.growwithghost.io/privacy-policy) and [Terms of Service](https://www.growwithghost.io/terms).
